Message Rocks

Waiting for June event which I dread with every fiber of my being. While mom and Becky are here, I often take a walk on the beach to calm my anxious thoughts. I'd find a rock to bring home on the walk and write a promise on it when I returned home. Faith. Hope. Love. Peace. Jesus. Each day of the June event, I put a different rock in my pocket. I kept my hand in my pocket rubbing and holding the rock throughout the day's proceedings trying to impart whatever attitude was on the rock into my restless soul. It helped a little. Squeezing the rock like you'd squeeze someone's hand if you were in pain. I was in pain and no matter how hard I squeezed that rock in my palm, it didn't mind.

Mom and I met Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Betty in the village of Kensington where Martha lives. Her church was doing a little caroling which we joined in on.

Mom and Aunt Mary Carolyn and I went to Balboa Village for the Day

There was a guy playing Christmas carols on his guitar in the little gazebo in the Artist's Village so Aunt Mary walked up and started singing Ava Maria with his playing. Who knew my aunt was a street musician!
