Mother's Day with both my boys!

I was in San Diego helping Chad after he was hit by a car while pedi-cabbing. So all three of us met in La Jolla Cove and they treated me to a special Mother's Day Breakfast. I've never been to La Jolla and it was a lot of fun. We went walking after breakfast, down to the Childrens Beach were we took this Photo. There were a lot of seal's on the beach. What an awesome treat it was to be with both m precious sons on this day. Just wish poor Chad wasn't still suffering from the accident!

Daddy x Four - Christmas Presents

We went to Wilmington for Christmas and stayed in Stephen's condo in Carolina Beach like we usually do. We went early and I took some acrylic paints and canvas panels and spent several days painting 4 identical paintings as Christmas presents for Mom, Becky, Stephen, and Timmy. Lisa wasn't going to be there, but I need to do her one too when I get back home. I like doing personal presents and hope they like these.

This is Sean's third Olympics - Beijing. What a great experience. He went here two more times, one with his graduate studies class at Pepperdine. I want his life!

Virginia Nightfall

Weary from the day I drove west toward a lavender sky.
How can it be so impossibly perfect with neon pink and

orange frilled mountain edges?
Twilight's periwinkle perfection with watercolor moon on high

Draws me toward the western glow and the solace it pledges.

Deeply intimate with evening, azure mountains and sky meet

And hesitate in a fervent hot pink embrace.
Brilliant stars with cut glass clarity illumine Orion's feet

As dusk and dark merge earth and sky and earthly forms erase.

Inhaling the cool, moist evening breath of earth

A welcome respite from the hectic pace

Awareness piqued by this nightfall’s birth

Beatific vision, proof of God’s grace.
